I’m a senior DevOps engineer and I see a lot of job postings for my field and level, but I have someone close to me who just graduated last year and she has been struggling to get a job at any game studio for any role she qualifies for (junior game dev, or junior game designer) she’s now looking for QA roles as well.

Watching all of this it seems like it’s a Herculean task to get a job when you’re fresh out of college, especially in the gaming field.

I was wondering if anyone had advice for how to be more appealing to indie gaming companies so that she might have an easier time getting her career started.
